Candy Crush, the addictive mobile game that started out as an excellent pastime on the social network Facebook, has continued to evolve over the years. 2016 brings you the latest offering, and that is the Candy Crush Jelly Saga. This version is said to be the most challenging of all, and you need to have your wits about you to move from one stage to the next. It continues to grow in popularity because it can be played be people of all ages, and is an excellent way to pass a few spare minutes each day.
Once you have downloaded the app you will notice that the yummy looking visuals that are signature for Candy Crush themes are back. So what is different?
The Challenge – Within the first few stages of this game you will realize that it is much more challenging than the Candy Crush Saga or the Candy Crush Soda Saga. In fact, you may find that you are forced to repeat certain stages of the game before you can move forward. It does help if you have played the other Candy Crush games before, although you should not imagine that this will give you an incredible edge.
The Jelly – Why is this version called the Jelly saga? Because you will need to focus on moves that will ‘spread jelly’. You will find that there are some bare spaces on the board, and in order to fill them, you will need to make a match using a piece that is in an area which contains jelly. Doing so will make sure that the jelly is able to spread onto the spaces which are bare on the board, or it will move under some of the pieces. For you to move forward in the game, you will need to spread a certain amount of jelly.
The Newbies – You will meet new and interesting characters in this game, starting with the Pufflers. These are little marshmallow flump worms which are concealed between some of the frosting candy layers. You need to uncover the entire Puffler so that you can find it, but you will be thwarted often as it is able to move to somewhere new if it is slightly uncovered. Track it and overcome this challenge.
This new game has 120 levels for you to enjoy, so there are plenty of fun hours ahead. Like the others, it is quite addictive, so hopefully, you are up for the challenge.
